I grew up between Japan and Indonesia, with years in Australia and Singapore along the way. I didn't choose to be bicultural — it's just what I am. But over time I realized it was the most useful thing I had to offer.
After 11 years building businesses in Indonesia — including scaling a Japanese brand from a licensing agreement into a real operation with 25+ outlets and 300+ staff — I've been in rooms that most people on either side never get access to. I know how Japanese partners think, what they need to feel before they commit, and how to help Indonesian counterparts show up in a way that earns that trust.
Jemoku is my commitment to close that gap — for whoever needs crossing. The name comes from 樹木 (jemoku, meaning tree) and Jembatan Aku (my bridge, in Indonesian). Roots on both sides. That's the only way a bridge holds.
